Covenant Betrayed

This covers the period from 1968 election to may 1, 1975. Eisenhower said in
1952 that he would go to Korea. He did and the Korean war ended in seven
months. Nixon promised peace in our time but the war increased and half of
the soldiers killed in Vietnam died under his leadership. Nixon invaded
Cambodia and Laos. Black Power morphed into the militant Black Panthers.
Antiwar groups although still predominantly mainstream morphed into a few
small splinter groups of Maoist, Marxist, and Socialists, anarchists
advocating revolution. The Weathermen went into hiding and planted bombs
in the Capital and robbed banks. And, Spiro Agnew rallied the Silent Majority.
This was the beginning of the second "Civil War" that is still is battled
today, and now has morphed into the third "Civil War".
